Breaking Barriers.

2am’s Breaking Barriers campaign is intended to help reduce educational barriers within the United States for lower income students of all ages. We will be regularly adding new initiatives under this campaign, so be on the lookout for the exciting initiatives we have planned for the near future.
Test Prep Book Drive
Our most recent initiative is a test prep book drive where we collected over $1000 worth of test prep books and donated them to students who come from low-income households.
Collaboration with Appily Day
Our first initiative is a collaboration with Appily Day. We have worked with Appily Day to release an informative educational equity PowerPoint translated to many different languages from Mandarian to English to Spanish. In these videos, our translators will talk about the effects of COVID-19 on modern education as well as some potential solutions.
To watch the video translated into a different language, please check out the Appily Day YouTube channel.
Interview with Aspire Education Connections
Our second initiative is an interview with Aspire Education Connections. The interview transcript can be found below.
Interview with First Generation Support
Our third initiative is a virtual interview with First Gen Support, an organization looking to provide resources and support to first generation, low income, and immigrant students.
