2am Interview Library.

2am sits down and interviews leaders from various nonprofit organizations around the world. These interviews are a starting point in learning how you can make an impact and get involved in the organizations and causes highlighted.

Current Affairs in Kashmir

"Encompassing the Karakoram mountain range in the north to the great Himalayas in the south lies the illustrious city of Ladakh. Ladakh, the place where my father—and many others—often reminisces about past adventures, is commended for its picturesque lakes and hilltop Buddhist monasteries. My father, sitting by the fireplace, unravels these stories before they become far off memories."

The Global Food Crisis

"A growling human stomach calls for a basic physiological need to be fulfilled. The inability to satisfy this fundamental necessity is the harsh reality for millions of individuals across the world. Since 2015, world hunger has been on the rise. According to the UN WFP, 821 million people do not have enough to eat."

Refugee Crises Amidst the Coronavirus

"As bleak as our prospects may seem, it is more important than ever to hold out together and continue supporting our community through these tough times. Our fate is in our hands, and as we approach the climax of this epidemic our actions will directly impact our future: whether it’s for better or worse is up to us. Help spark a positive change by visiting The UN Refeugee’s Agency to explore their goals for reaching out to imperiled individuals and providing aid."

US Halts Funding to WHO

"United States President Donald Trump believes that WHO, the World Health Organization, is at fault. On May 18th, Trump posted his letter to Dr. Tedros of WHO, citing that WHO showed an “alarming lack of independence from the People’s Republic of China”, and calling for the organization to demonstrate “independence from China”.

About Us

2am was founded in 2018 by high school students with the mission to create a platform that brings awareness to various humanitarian issues not being covered by mainstream media. In two years, the organization has grown both in size and coverage. Today, we have 15 amazing team members, post weekly content, and hold various campaigns and initiatives. The initiatives we've worked on in the past include interviewing Congressmen on gun control legislation, partnering with local nonprofits to support the causes they're fighting for, and writing thank you letters to those on the frontlines of the Covid-19 pandemic.
